Privacy Policy
Hey! My name is Guy Tepper. I built Stylist as a fun project to help me improve my horrible fashion taste. Personally I don’t like when apps track or collect information about me, so I tried my best to keep it to the minimum.
In this document I will try to outline everything that Stylist collect when you use the app.
Information Collection
Basic account information: Stylist asks for basic information from you in order to set up your account. If you use iOS, you’ll have to sign in using your Apple ID - but you have the option to hide your email. That’s it - you don’t need to provide your real email or name.
Uploaded content: When you submit a request for outfit review, the photo will be uploaded to our storage in Google Cloud. The document will be encrypted and highly secured. The photo will also be sent to OpenAI for the AI model to provide outfit feedback. The photo will not be saved at their servers.
The provided review will also be saved on Google Cloud, encrypted and highly secured.
Log information: Like most online service providers, the app collects information that mobile devices and servers typically make available, including the unique device identifiers, language preference, the date and time of access, operating system, mobile network information. We also collect certain actions during the app usage (such as when you request an outfit feedback and the parameters that you choose for the review)
Data Retention and Deletion
The information is stored as long as you have an account in the app.
If you want to delete your data, simple go to the settings screen in the app, press the “Account” button and then “Delete Account”.
Once the account is deleted, all your data will be removed from our database - including user information and content (the outfit reviews and image files you uploaded).
